Dry electrode coating
No NMP, no drying ovens, no solvent recovery. The coating line is 40 m shorter and draws 62% less energy per GWh than a conventional slurry line.

Glass-ceramic separator
Melt-quenched sulphide drawn to 18 µm on a roll-to-roll line originally built for optical film. Ionic conductivity holds at 3.1 mS/cm at room temperature.

Anode-free assembly
Lithium plates in situ on the copper current collector during first charge. Nothing pyrophoric enters the dry room, which removes the single largest capex line in the plant.

Isostatic formation
Cells form under uniform 1.8 MPa in a 96-position press. Pressure uniformity, not temperature, turned out to be the variable that governs cycle life.
