The seabed moves. Your chart doesn't.

Zeewacht surveys the Dutch and Belgian sectors with uncrewed vessels working around the clock. Same instruments as a crewed spread, a fifth of the day rate, and no weather window lost to shift changes.

What a survey line actually shows

Below is a real-shaped profile from a cable route: a scour pit at KP 2,7 where the current accelerates past a monopile, and a sandwave field from KP 4 onward that moves roughly nine metres a year.

Four things we are actually good at

01

Pre-lay route survey

Multibeam, sub-bottom and magnetometer on one pass. Deliverables in the client’s own CRS, not ours.

02

Cable and pipeline inspection

Burial depth by sub-bottom profiler, cross-checked against DTS where the operator has it.

03

UXO and boulder clearance

Gradiometer array at 0,4 m line spacing. Every anomaly gets a position, a mass estimate and a photograph.

04

Scour monitoring

Repeat passes on the same lines to centimetre repeatability, so change is change and not survey noise.

The fleet, and where it is today

Two uncrewed surface vessels do most of the metres. The crewed hulls exist for the jobs a USV cannot do — anything with an ROV on the end of it.

Send us a route. We'll send back a day count.

Give us the corridor and the deliverable standard and you get a mobilisation plan with a weather-downtime allowance we stand behind — not a best case that quietly assumes flat calm for three weeks.
